To my Brothers and Sisters,

On behalf of my Sister Columbiettes of Nassau Chapter, I would like to extend to you
a very warm and hearty welcome to The 2018 Nassau Chapter Ball. It is a great
privilege to pay tribute to this year’s honoree: “Dominican Sisters of Amityville”.
I would like to acknowledge these Dominican Sisters for their commitment to
spreading the good news of the Gospel, for ministering to the people of God and for
proclaiming the dignity of life. They are truly an embodiment of the signs of joy
and hope. I am delighted to congratulate “Dominican Sisters of Amityville” for a
much deserved recognition.
Congratulations are also due to Joan Chwalisz nominated as “Columbiette of the
Year”for her outstanding dedication and contribution to the Nassau Chapter
Columbiettes. Congratulations, as well, are sent to Brian Ennis nominated as
“Knight of the Year” and to Bob Wahl the recipient of the “Lifetime Achievement
Award”. These men exemplify the true meaning of Columbianism and are a
testament to the principles of the Knights of Columbus.
May our Blessed Mother’s love shine upon you always.
