Prayer for Vocations Pope Paul VI To Be Cannonized October 14th

O Jesus, divine Shepherd of souls, who has called the Apostles to make them fishers of men, draw still unto yourself ardent and generous souls of the youth, to make them your followers and ministers. Make them share your thirst for universal Redemption, for which you renew your Sacrifice on the altars. You, O Lord, "always alive to intercede for us" (Heb. 7:25), disclose to them the horizons of the entire world, where the silent supplication of many brothers asks for the light of truth and the warmth of love; so that, responding to your call, they may continue here below Your mission, edify Your mystical Body, which is the Church, and be "salt of the earth", and "light of the world" (Mt. 5:13). Spread, O Lord, your loving call even to many souls of pure and generous women, and instill in them the anxiousness for evangelical perfection, and the dedication to the service of the Church and brethren in need of help and charity. AMEN.
